Our Story
FreshMart began as a small family-owned produce stand in 1995. What started as a passion for bringing the freshest local fruits and vegetables to our community has grown into a full-service grocery store that maintains the same commitment to quality and personal service.
Founded by the Johnson family, our first store opened with just 5 employees and a small selection of locally grown produce. Today, we've expanded to 12 locations across the state, employ over 500 team members, and offer thousands of products while still maintaining our core values.
Despite our growth, we've never forgotten our roots. We still partner with many of the same local farmers who supplied our original store, and we continue to prioritize quality, freshness, and community in everything we do.
